I could not resist this shot of her chubby cheeks! She has started to pose for the camera now. It did not take her long to figure things out!
We are going shopping in old town Chongqing today. We are all very anxious to move on to Guangzhou and one step closer to home. We have to stay here to get her Chinese passport and then we will fly out tomorrow night. We are really missing the boys and home. We are also missing our bed! Our guide told us that the Chinese people believe that sleeping on a hard mattress is good for health. Therefore, the better the hotel, the harder the mattress. We are staying in a 5 star hotel and Don said he feels like he is sleeping on his work bench!
Kate is doing so well. We are figuring her out a bit more each day and I guess she is figuring us out too. We are so in love with her and can not wait to get her home to meet her brothers.
Right now, she really seems to enjoy peace and quiet. She is not crazy about being out on the street with all of the commotion. I do not know how to break it to her that her that this quiet routine of just her and us will be ending soon.
