12/16/08 - Chongqing

Today was an easier day with no paperwork or other official business so we spent some time playing with Kate and one of her orphange mates (only 3 days younger) in our room and then going for a short walk around the city near the hotel. After the walk, Kate took a nap (in one of her favorite spots - on top of Daddy) and then we all went for a tour of shopping areas near the hotel. As usual, our group of 4 babies drew lots of attention and a few good sized crowds. I kept telling people that I was not a movie star but I think they thought I was going to be in Jackie Chan's next movie. My Chinese is not real good so I may be wrong about all this. We ended the day with a great dinner at the seafood restaurant under the hotel and a quick shopping spree through the grocery store where one can get just about anything that swims and slithers, alive and dead. Tomorrow we head to the zoo to see Pandas!!!
