12/14/08 - 3:40pm (Local time)
Here she is!!!! Kate has arrived! We got the call around 3:25 pm local time (2:25 am for you folks back in VA) that the 4 babies for our group had arrived and would be up to the 30th floor of the hotel in a few minutes. We packed up our gifts, and cameras, just about anything we could think to take and headed up there. The babies soon arrived and they are all so beautiful. We were the third couple to get our child and Kate was so calm. She really likes the taste of those fingers and that seems to be here way to comfort herself. We took lots of photos and video. She feel asleep with Don holding her a few minutes after we got her. We met the orphange director and one of the nannies who took care of her and gave them gifts and many thanks and lots of toys donated by so many of our wonderful friends and family. We have her back in the room and Denise is working on feeding her and getting her cleaned up and in fresh clothes and diaper. She even gave us a bit of a smile.
